Come to the 3rd Annual Turkey Trot Run and Walk at Pagosa Lakes Recreation Center on Thanksgiving Day. Its a great way to support the Pagosa Springs Pirate Cross Country Team and the Pagosa Lakes Porpoise Swim Team, which use the event to raise money for their teams. The event is a 5 Mile Run over mostly paved and some gravel roads, rolling hills. There is also a 2 Mile Walk is over pavement and grass, relatively flat if you don’t like running. Regardless of what the weather may be, this event will happen no matter what, so come out and support these two local teams! It’s a great way to get some exercise while at the same time make room for that chocolate or pumpkin pie! All ages can participate.
The event will start at 10am on Thanksgiving Day at the Pagosa Lakes Recreation Center. The price for early registration is $25.00 for an individual or $75.00 for a family with a maximum of 5 members.
