Construction is underway on the new Tractor Supply Store just south of the junction of highways 84 and 160. Earth work leveling the property and preparing for the building is currently being accomplished. The PagosaSun.com reported that the store will have a 3.5 acre footprint — including the parking lot — with a 22,000 square-foot building. Connected to the side of the building will be a 15,000 square-foot outdoor display area for bulk items that won’t fit on a shelf inside the store. The store will many feature products in multiple departments, including:  Agriculture, Clothing & Footwear, Horse, Fencing, Heating, Hunting, Lawn & Garden, Livestock, Parts Store, Pet, Plumbing, Paint & Hardware, Power Equipment, Tools, Toys & Decor, Trailers & Towing, Vehicle Maintenance, and Welding. It should be a huge benefit to the economy of Pagosa Springs.
