Pagosa Springs, CO – Step Outdoors, LLC has once again organized the Snowman Stomp Snowshoe Romp for Saturday, February 8th, 2014. Teaming up with the Pagosa Lakes Homeowners Association, the 1.5-mile stomp and a 5K stomp outdoor event will be held in the Vista Lake area. We will meet at the Clubhouse, located at 230 Port Avenue in Pagosa with a prompt 10:00 am start. The cost is $5 per person. Registration begins at 9:00 am at the Clubhouse. Or, preregister by February 5th here or at the Chamber of Commerce. The first 100 registered snowshoers are guaranteed a goodie bag and prizes will be awarded for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd race finishers of each distance. For new snowshoers a first timer’s clinic will be held at 9:15 am. No reservation necessary. Simply show up with your snowshoes and we will show you what to do with them.
