Next Thursday, November 7th, 6pm, at the Community Center is the Happy Trails Fashion Show. It will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters as well as the Feed The Children Program. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Colorado was founded in 1984 by a group of local community leaders who saw a need for positive, adult mentors in the lives of the many promising youth in the area. We currently have Community-Based mentoring in both La Plata and Archuleta Counties, along with School-Based mentoring in La Plata County.
The Feed the Children Program fills backpacks with food for 3rd and 4th graders to take home on weekends. Many families do not have the food to feed their kids on weekends, unfortunately. So this will benefit two great children’s programs in Pagosa!! Tickets are $35 each and available from me, Sharee Grazda at 731-0317 or Happy Trails. If you want to purchase a table, tickets are $40 each or $320 for the table. Please use one check for table purchases. Make checks out to CUMC. Please call us for tickets!
