What do you do on a snow day? Snowshoe to a frozen waterfall!

When school is canceled because of a snow day, teenage girls decide to take a hike!
A wonderful view at the end of the trail leads them to a frozen waterfall. Ahhh to live in the mountains!

Take Piedra Road North. Once you cross the Piedra River, go 1/4 mile and park in the Piedra River Trail parking area. Take the lower trail once it splits and hike along the river.

I’m old, (70) and hike that trail in the summer. It is breathtaking then, I cannot imagine how beautiful it is in the winter.

How far is the hike on that trail to get to some of the frozen waterfalls?
