July Volunteer Trail Work Projects

Posted by stepoutdoors
 Friday, July 1st, 2016

Visit the new Pagosa Area Trail Council website – PagosaTrails.org.

Summer is in full swing and the Pagosa Area Trails Council (PATC), and several of its sister user groups, have scheduled several volunteer trail work projects for which we could use your help. PATC functions as one of the coordinating organization to assist with the care and maintenance of a few of the approximately 687 miles of trails that need maintenance in the Pagosa Ranger District.

Trail work is for nearly everyone. Most projects have an array of needs, from lopping to digging to building to sawing. There is a job for every volunteer – we promise.

Reservoir Hill Project
Meeting Location:
Spa Trailhead parking lot
Project Summary: We will be placing the new signs on Bronc and cutting in the sections of Tecolote loop that are hard to follow. Depending on how many people show up to work, we could work on Bronc as there might be some damage because of the water tank.
