Wolf Creek Ski Area welcomed a blast of winter weather on Monday night and Tuesday.  As of this afternoon the 24-hour snowfall total had stacked up to 8 inches contributing to an 18 inch summit base depth and a midway base depth of one foot.  Wolf Creek is not only the only Colorado ski area reporting new snow, but with adult lift tickets at the early season rate of only $31, it is also the least expensive.  What’s more, the National Weather Service is forecasting snow for most of the week.
