FolkWest
FolkWest produces the Four Corners Folk Festival and the Independent Music Festival (Indiefest) annually in Pagosa Springs. Both outdoor events are held on Reservoir Hill and feature live musical performances, on-site camping, vending, free kids’ activities and more. Gray Wolf Ski Club
The Gray Wolf Ski Club has more than 500 members on both sides of Wolf Creek Pass who are interested in outdoor activities like skiing (downhill and x-country), hiking, golf and fellowship. Habitat for Humanity
We build 1-2 houses in Pagosa Springs each year. These houses are constructed almost entirely with volunteer labor. Our efforts in Pagosa Springs over the past 15 years have provided quality housing for over 50 children. To volunteer services or to apply for a home, call 264-6647.

Humane Society of Pagosa Springs
A private, nonprofit organization serving Archuleta County. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for animals in need, to promote adoptions, to reunite lost animals with their owners and to humanely reduce pet overpopulation through community education and aggressive spay/neuter programs. The Humane Society operates the Animal Shelter and the Humane Society Thrift Store in downtown Pagosa.

24-hour service to all crime victims, particularly Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault survivors. RAV works to end violence by crisis intervention, educational programs and community involvement.

Southwest Chaper of the American Red Cross
Southwest Colorado Chapter of the American Red Cross has Disaster Action Teams (DAT) in each of the 5 counties we serve. We are looking for volunteers to serve with the Archuleta DAT and help local citizens affected by disasters such as house fires and flooding. Meetings are the first Monday of every month at 5:45pm the Archuleta County Emergency Operations Center on Piedra Road.

Women’s Civic Club of Pagosa Springs
Started in 1910 to take over the operation of the existing library of 202 books, today the Civic Club supports the library in any way needed. The Civic Club meets monthly on the third Thursday at 1:30 at the Methodist church on Lewis Street. Everyone is welcome. For info call 264-2209.
