The Pagosa Folk and Bluegrass Festival and Pagosa Spring summer season got off to a big start this weekend.
The music festivals are well known for bringing rain. Saturday morning saw this cloud, but it blew away leaving the fest with a nice warm day.
The music was good and festival fans got into the spirit early.
A second smaller stage entertained full time.
The Black Lillies are playing a free concert Tuesday in Town Park for the Ride the Rockies Tour.
Out in the camping area some of Pagosa’s finest did their own thing. Everyone needs a little “Magic Bus” in their lives!
Alice, a Pagosan, set up her annual camp at the “End of the Road Campground.”
Finally someone got the spirit and dancing broke out inside and…
and outside, what joy!
Some take it seriously!
With music rockin’ at high volume…
This young fellow was as cool as a cucumber! One of the bands announced that back stage, after their set, they would be signing CDs and changing diapers!
