I moved to Pagosa Springs from Baltimore, Maryland, with my wife in the late spring of 2007. Like just about anyone else not born and raised in Pagosa, we were drawn here by the tremendous beauty of the San Juan Mountains, the wide variety of recreational activities within close reach, and the honest, friendly, laid back attitude of the folks who live here.
While I’m relatively new to real estate, I have many years experience running my own successful small businesses back east. My wide variety of work and business experience includes bartending, contracting, operating a delivery service, and, from scratch, building a highly regarded picture frame store and art gallery. I even did a stint or two as a bouncer.
How does this help me in the real estate business? Simple: I’m comfortable with a wide variety of folks from varying backgrounds, I’m creative, I understand finance and marketing, and I know how to work very hard to accomplish goals.
After living for 18 years in downtown Baltimore, I also bring a fresh perspective to Pagosa. I know what it’s like to make a radical change in living and I work well with clients, coming or going, who are contemplating the same. I can still see Pagosa as an outsider might and I have an objective take on its minor faults and its major strengths. I’ve explored widely the stunning landscape that frames Pagosa and I’m well acquainted with its varied neighborhoods, residential areas and ranches. I’ve become adept at helping my clients sort through the issues that can affect the important decisions they make as they contemplate buying or selling property here.
While I’ve been here long enough that I’ve begun to get a pretty good feel for Pagosa Springs and its surrounds I can still approach its real estate with an outsider’s objectivity and no preconceptions – a hugely important perspective in today’s unsettled market.
I can help you sell and I can help you buy, effectively and discerningly. Give me a call and let’s chat a bit, see if you don’t agree.
