Friends often call me when wrestling with
colds or flu - and often they have lingering
illness for weeks.
When the bugs come knocking at our
house, here's what we do:
#1 INCREASE FLUIDS - particularly warm water with a squirt of fresh lemon or lime juice - start first thing in the a.m. and have quarts! throughout the day (eliminate coffee - have tea instead)
#2 OREGANO OIL - found at local health food market - put just a few drops of this potent oil into 1/4 cup olive oil. (do not use undiluted - it burns!) Stir it into the olive oil with fingers and rub onto affected areas (throat, head, chest) repeatedly 2-3x/day till better. wear old clothes

Just doing these two simple things makes a HUGE difference for us. Then of course there's always a big pot of Super Immunity Soup on the stove. mmmmmm.........
