Early Detection Week

The Early Detection Week will be held during the week of February 8th-13th. Hours of operation for that week will be 8:30-11:00AM Monday through Saturday, and 5:00-7:00PM Tuesday and Thursday.

The Upper San Juan Health Service District's Pagosa Mountain Early Detection Clinic is holding another Early Detection Week from Monday, February 8th through Saturday, February 13th on the campus of Pagosa Mountain Hospital. Once again, a free cardiac screen will be offered, which consists of a blood pressure reading, glucose test, and full lipid panel cholesterol test. No appointment is necessary during the Early Detection week, and the hours for each day will be from 8:30AM to 11:00AM, as well as Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. Patients are required to fast for 12 hours prior to the appointment. There will also be patient requested lab tests available during the same time for a nominal fee, such as testing for prostate, diabetes, thyroid, complete blood count, metabolic panel, and more.

Soup for the Soul to benefit Hospice of Mercy

February 11, 2010 at 5:30 p.m.

The sixth annual Mercy Health Foundation event promises to warm body and soul as some of the finest restaurants and caterers of Pagosa Springs feature delicious soups, appetizers and desserts to benefit Hospice of Mercy.

In addition to enjoying a delicious meal, guests will be able to participate in a silent auction featuring beautiful works of art by many local artists and enjoy live music.
