The Williams Creek Nordic Trail was groomed for classic and ski skating. A wonderful Nordic WinterFest weekend north of Pagosa Springs.
Snowmobilers were heading for Poison Park and beyond.
During the WinterFest Party at Indian Head Lodge a snowmobile with a trailer came down the trail. The driver got off and wanted to know what was happening. This couple, Shelly and Cody Fahrion, had spent the night camping in a tent on the shore of Williams Lake. It was bitterly cold, the sky crystal clear and the moon was brilliant. Shelly said it was the best night of her life! True Pagosans!
