OLD SPANISH TRAIL CONFERENCE
The San Juan Mountains Association is pleased to announce a FREE conference on the Old Spanish Trail, a National Historic Trail that passes through the Durango area.
The conference will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at the Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College from 9:00 am to 4:00pm. Please join us for talks, traditional demonstrators. Ballet Folklorico de Durango performance, and refreshments. Lunches will be available for purchase at a nominal price. Sunday, May 11th, the Old Spanish Trail Association will host field visits to nearby Trail segments.
The conference is funded, in part, by the National Park Service, the Colorado Council for the Arts.
