MONTEZUMA COUNTY - Law enforcement in southern Colorado are closely watching a known polygamist religious group in the town of Mancos.

Mancos is east of Cortez and about three hours south of where many believe the same group is building a new compound in Crawford.
9Wants to Know has been investigating the connection to the group in West Texas where authorities seized more than 400 children in a raid last week.
The groups both in Texas and in Mancos are affiliated with the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Monday, Montezuma County Sheriff Gerald Wallace flew a plane over the area owned by the FLDS church in Mancos.
