A slurry pilot was killed and an entire town was evacuated today as dry conditions and high winds fueled large wildfires across Colorado.
The Associated Press quoted a Crowley County deputy saying two people had died in a 7,100-acre fire near Ordway, but public information officer Chris Sorensen said the county coroner had no reports of death as of 9:30 p.m.
