for the San Juan National Forest and BLM.

Rock Art Documentation Class

Archaeologists Sally Cole and Carole Graham will lead a three day rock art documentation workshop from 8am - 5m on April 18-20 at a site in Canyons of the AncientsNational Monument.

Students will gain hands-on training in rock art documentation. Skills taught will include rock art drawing, site mapping, photography, and filling out Colorado site forms.

Cost of the class is $100. Class size is limited to 15. Any proceeds over costs of the workshop will go to benefit new archaeological programs at the CortezCulturalCenter and the Hawkins Preserve. Call Linda at 970-565-1151 to register.
