Position: General Labor I Two positions available (possibly three) for up to six months each. Starting dates are flexible but ideally starting in May 1st, 2008.
Pay Rate: 12.35

Job Description: Assist Property Technicians with management of 15 StateWildlife Areas in the San Juan Basin, Southwest Colorado. Duties include but not limited to fence construction and repair, irrigation, seeding and fertilization, weed control, and general maintenance and up-keep of the wildlife areas
Minimum Requirements: Minimum Requirements: All applicants must be have a valid drivers license. You must be physically fit and able to meet rigorous demands of field work in all weather conditions. Must be able to operate a 4WD pick-up and ATVs. Must be able to adapt to a flexible work schedule, including some overnight stays in the field. Applicant must have good communication skills and be able to work cooperatively with others as well as independently in the field. Additional Skills (Preferred but not Required): Knowledge of heavy equipment, ranch/farm type work, outdoor activities including hiking, and operation of power tools.
