Images of Enchanting Pagosa Country
Notice:
You may be aware your Pagosa Country
Adventure Guide editor often creates altered photo images using
the Adobe Photoshop computer program. In the scenic photos below
I have used this program to place several photos side by side
in order to produce the vistas shown. I also placed images of
“fun” vehicles on otherwise empty roads. The scenery
is the scenery and is unaltered except for contrast.

The Pagosa Country area has two brief seasons when the colors
of nature are at maximum intensity. One is the autumn color
change season when the aspen, oak and brush turn brilliant
fall colors. The other is springtime when the grass, brush
and aspen trees turn vibrant greens. The wild grass has a
brief green period before it goes to seed and becomes gold
to brown. These photos were made during early spring when
the trees and grasses glowed in clear and sunny skies.
